Ceramic Denibbing Tool

Description

Designed to remove paint and clear coat imperfections without respraying.
Ceramic blade is less aggressive than a tungsten blade, reducing the risk of scratching surrounding paint.
Ideal for removing: Dust nibs / Paint runs / Paint sags / Overspray
Suitable for automotive panels, furniture, motorhomes, caravans, and other painted surfaces.
Supplied with a protective storage case and lanyard.
Recommended for use with Power-TEC Shim Masks (Part No. 92439).
Basic Instructions for Use
Ensure the paint or clear coat has fully cured.
Identify the raised paint defect to be removed.
If available, position a shim mask around the defect to protect the surrounding paint.
Hold the ceramic den-ibbing tool at a shallow angle to the surface.
Using light, controlled strokes, gently shave only the raised imperfection.
Frequently inspect the repair area and stop once the defect is level with the surrounding surface.
Polish the repaired area to restore a high-gloss finish if necessary.
